Boys and girls, the 2013-14 season has begun and what a beginning it is. As Darcy so clearly spelled out in the spring, "It may require some suffering." Well, ladies and gentlemen THIS is suffering. So far, this is THE WORSE start that the Sabres ever had.

I am soooooooooooo looking forward to the rest of the 79 remaining games

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

It's the first season I'm not mad that I can't watch most of the games. I have to admit, it's even worse than I expected. The journey for the No.1 pick has begun.

...and I think it's pretty safe to say: bye Vanek, bye Miller, good luck.

Trade Miller for one or two decent forwards. Really, that's the only part of our game I dislike... When you have decent defense and goaltending but your forward core is lazy/bad, you're going to get railed. No defense can survive without a functioning offense...

I agree with you. Our offense has struggled real bad. I don't see them not burying their chances for much longer.

Given the fact our rookie line is fantastic right now and Vanek and Hodgson are getting chances out the wazoo, they will come soon.

You know what sucks. That first period was the best our offense played all year too.
