Pat Lafontaine brought in to new position as President of Hockey Operations and Ted freakin Nolan brought back as interim head coach.
Lafontaine is actively searching for the next GM...

Well damn, there's what a lot of people were waiting for.

So, Pat Lafontaine is supposed to know how a hockey team should work, right? But he's looking for a new GM?
I don't quite understand the flow chart here...
Can someone help me out?

Anybody wish they could see Lindy's face right about now?
Hey, we should have him back in a few years then, right?? ;)

I'd like to see Patty stay as GM honestly. But I love former players being front office staff.

What would you guys think of Kevin Devine as GM? I believe he's done a good job drafting for us.

As I said in the GDT, the call on Rivet was horseshit. The Bruins player was holding onto Rivet's stick like it was the last fucking raft on the Titanic.

I'm hoping that a huge weight has now been lifted off Ott's shoulders, and that he'd like to stay now. He's a fiery leader; now he's got a fiery coach to play for. I'm hoping for a more active & enthusiastic Sabres squad now. And Tyler Myers? Maybe he'll enjoy playing again with some boyish enthusiasm.

The possibilities are now endless!

I am still shocked.... I really never expected Darcy to be canned. I figured he convinced Pegula with the rebuild to save his ass for a few more years.

LaFontaine just said the players gave a round of applause when Ted Nolan walked into the dressing room for the first time
