Isn't Conacher like Gerbe 1.01? Sabres are definitely not boring this year. They suck at hockey but there is always something happening.

I got the chance to watch a crap ton of Conacher when he played here in Norfolk with the Admirals. I don't know why he slipped but the guy was fun to watch and he has tons of potential.

His size is an issue at only 5'8. But I know his rookie year with the lightning he was doing fine. 24 points in 35 games before he was included in the Ben Bishop deal.

He was on the 2011-2012 Calder Cup winning Norfolk Admirals when they were Tampa's crop team. Kid was brilliant. They broke the 17 game AHL winning streak and the pro wining streak with 28 games! The kid amassed 39 goals and 41 assists in the regular season and 15 more points in the playoffs. When the Admirals switched affiliates to Anaheim and he got shipped up to Syracuse he slipped down to 28 points in 36 AHL games and 24 points in 35 NHL games. I don't what the hell happened but this kid was AMAZING to watch down here in Virginia. I hope we can get him back on track.

As with other players, they just have a hard time adjusting to the big leagues. Luke Adam and T.J. Brennen are prime examples. They're great AHL players but can't adjust to make it in the NHL.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

He still had a nice season in the NHL last year. He's only 24. Plenty of time to be a 40-50 point guy.
