I know, before you say anything, Eklund is a fool.

That being said, I don't think it would be a bad pick up. He's played for Nashville and Florida and has never been a - player. 3 years ago he was a +13 with Nashville playing 48 games. At 28 y/o he should be entering his prime for a d-man and at that price, may be worth taking a chance. I know we have too many D right now, but if picking him up gave us the chance to move Hank or Toni then I think we should do it. Free up $3m to sign someone now or at the deadline.
