Last two seasons like you said, and I'll calculate how many they'd have if they both played 164 games. Stafford, D: 149 hits Wheeler, B: 121 hits (he actually did play all 82 games in 09/10, for the record) So, your theory was indeed correct. |

So what I'm getting form you guys is that Stafford is better than Wheeler. He just needs to be taught the error of his ways - how to play the fast paced game of hockey. Sounds like Grier needs some wing men in his quest to re-make the Sabres. |

It is possible that the change of scenery could help Wheeler. But, I don't think it's a slam dunk that Wheeler would come here and be the power forward with skill that some might expect him to be. |
