Darren Dregger was on the Howard Simon show this morning.

Anyways, he had some interesting comments on Lindy Ruff.

He did say Darcy Regier is reaching out to find a trade.

Is about possible trades?
I don't know, but Dregger did state that it was awfully difficult to make trades in the salary cap era.

The only way I would trade with SJ if it's Setoguchi or Pavelski. As for LA I'll take Dustin Brown.

The only time they should mention trades are ones they are actually working on that will happen. That should occur more often than never. I am sure Regier has been directed to make a trade before year's end.

For Darcy's sake I think it would be a good idea to mention some of the trades that didn't go through as well just to let the fans no that at least he's trying. We don't know what is happening so we just assume the worst.
