I figured out why Connolly hasn't been much of a presence on the ice so far this season. He simply hasn't gotten enough rest before games!

I always thought his head looked like a penis. Am I weird to think that? My friends and I affectionately refer to him as "the penishead." I know, that makes me sound like I'm 11 years old. |

Package him up and ship him off to Edmonton, Calgary, LA, SJ or CBJ. I don't care if its for a return roster player, prospect(s) or pick(s). The sooner he goes the better. |

I have a feeling Connolly might find himself playing for one of our trade partners, being the Sharks, Oilers, Blue Jackets or Thrashers. |

I'm not going to excuse their lack of production because of their center, but that's a good place to start. Connolly has simply got to be better, and of course he knows that and is trying. But I swear it looks like he expects the defense to just bow down to his Godlike talent, and when they don't he gets discouraged. lol I mean you have to get your hands dirty sometimes, nobody likes having a goalie in net to shoot around or getting hit a lot around the net but there are things are required of players in the NHL, let alone those that are paid like All-Stars. |

Darcy had to of learned the lesson from the Drury/Briere fiasco. He isn't going to let Connolly walk for nothing, he'll be gone either before the deadline or at it. Thank the lord to. |

If I was another team, I wouldn't give more than a shit round pick or career AHLer for Connolly. Then again, if I were the Sabres, I'd take that just to get him out of here. |

Quite frankly, there isn't much on the Edmonton roster of value to us that they would actually trade. Obviously Souray, Hall, Hemsky and Eberle are completely off the table so that leaves maybe Brule, Penner..? And if we traded Connolly, we would need a 2nd line center. |
