zherdev was waived by the flyers.... would anyone want to take a chance on him? hes not exactly killing it to for the flyers, but id sure like to take a chance. |

sabres lack scoring ATM, and hes scoring goals at his normal clip (mid 20s range in a full season, hes at 15 now) but is lacking assists. i couldnt see the harm in it, but ive always been a zherdev fan. |

zherdev is a streaking RWer who plays some nights, and doesnt others. got all the skill in the world though. this season, hes scoring goals at his normal pace, but not picking up any assists. hes not willing to do the dirty gritty work to win, but if he has the puck, he can be lethal. for a free pick up, id take a chance on him, but he does come with baggage. but with this season being a year in which the sabres need to make up some ground, but arnt willing to mortgage the future, hes a free winger. |

They said that they're going to go after players that can help for more than just a couple weeks. Zherdev is not that player. |
