Any ideas?

I think we should try and trade him come draft day. The guy has played horrible in the playoffs so far. Gives the puck away at least once every time he is on the ice. We could definately use someone with a lot more confidence back there and I hope Darcy goes and gets us a D-Man to replace this clown...

Since I'm on the topic of D-Men anyone hear what Pierre Mcguire said about Gragnani? Pretty much his exact words were "there will be a Norris Trophy in his future.." Man do I ever hope that's true...

Butler has been one of the best defenseman on the team from the last month of the season through this series.

Please let me know when you actually start watching the games.

..........Did you even watch the games? Yes, he has made some awful mistakes, but he has played a solid series so far. Also, take a look at his ice time.
G1- 26:34
G2- 27:45
G3- 19:44
G4- 27:08
G5- 26:04
When you're out on the ice for a little less than half of the game, you are bound to make some mistakes.

Jammerz has a long and sordid history of proposing trade ideas for :

- Players on the team that are playing well, but who have made a recent mistake.
- Other teams superstars

Once you realize that most of his ideas would only happen on Xbox, and even then only rarely, you'll be better off.

Hey, hey, let's be nice. But I know what you mean, I was on the old boards too.

Butler has been amazing this series. I wouldn't mind if we trade him, but it would have to be a good deal.

Pffft, never mind moving Butler, they should get rid of Miller, Vanek, Ennis and Myers.

Those guys couldn't score a goal or single handedly win a game if their (playoff) lives depended on it.

Just a bunch of bums, they are..

Buddy your an idiot if you think he's been our best defenseman in the series. Maybe towards the end of the season yes but in the series? You gotta be fucking kidding me? He's played well in a couple games in this series but you already seem like your going down on the guy. By your ratings of players no one on this team should be gone... Everyone on this team deserves a spot on NHL playoff caliber team... That's simply not the case bud.

All of his giveaways end up being really good chances for the Flyers. And those are the kind of brain farts that can hurt this team. It actually did last nightAnd that's why I'm saying we should "TRY" and trade him come draft day.

And yes I've watched every game to this point and Grags takes the lead as our best overall defenseman so far this round.

I'm not an idiot. I'm also not your bud. I'm also certainly not going down on the guy.

Butler has had two bad plays that lead to goals. One of them was bad luck where the puck got caught up in a puddle and he lost it. The other he made a poor choice. Players make mistakes. His overall play this series has been excellent.

Butler has made some bad mistakes, some that have led to goals against, but he's also made some excellent plays and been generally steady. I like his game right now.

Butler has been a very pleasant surprise this year. I had all but given up on him...

also guy when did i even mention a actual trade that involves Butler? Your going off about a trade only working on xbox and shit but all I asked was if we should trade him? Why you like attacking me like this? Serious guy someone should throw warnings your way. There was no need for you to say anything about video games because I Didnt even mention an actual trade.

And mistakes leading to GOALS AGAINST, is a PRETTY BIG DEAL!!!!

But for all you other folks outhere that actually read the actual post before posting rude comments. I'm also happy Butler has played a good "defensive" game so far. And I only asked if we should trade him because of his giveaways (There's been a lot) but I guess that could all be because of how much experience he's had in the playoffs in the NHL.

I am not attacking you. I'm attacking your idea to trade Butler. It's dumb.

If I was attacking you, it would be obvious.

I had too. I was really high on him when he first came up, and was paired with Rivet. When he took a crap again, I didn't think he'd ever turn it around. Glad to be wrong there.

hey man that was before his play in this years playoffs. I assert myself as WRONG in that area. Miller is awesome goalie now that he's playing to the level he should be playing to game in and game out.

YES GUYS/GALS I ADMIT I WAS WRONG ABOUT MILLER!!!

Anyways Squanto if I did offend you in anyway I apologise but it's kind of hard to keep your fingers from typing rude stuff when another poster comes out at you with comments like you posted.... No more trade talk until Sabres season is over.

I'm not offended at all. Just understand that attacking your idea is something that's going to happen around here. It's not personal, but if people don't like an idea, they're going to speak up about it.
