So with the buyout period beginning next Wednesday would you buyout Hecht? IMO I would. I'm not sure of what the buyout terms would be. I believe it's double the years and not sure of the his salary. I honestly believe he's no help to us. What do you guys think? Is there anyone else on your mind on the current roster you think should be bought out? |

Two years in a row without Hecht in the playoffs took it's toll on the PK. He doesn't deserve 3.5 mil, but he's important as a versatile two way forward. Considering the lack of quality centers right now, ditching him would be a bad move, especially since the cap savings are not very significant. There's nobody on the roster that should be bought out, except possibly Morrisonn depending on what else happens with the d-corps. I would think he could get traded on draft day though for a late rd pick, since his salary isn't that bad. |
