I'd make the deal if we got a draft pick, too. It sheds cap, adds a talented young center, and gives the team some options as far as restructuring goes, especially with Hecht, Goose, and Boyes coming off the books.

We should not get ahead of ourselves here. Take what we can get now and let the Caps deal with his bullshit. Marcus is young and his potential is limitless.

Quick question....why on earth would the crapitals want Roy? Sounds like this Johannson guy is a solid #2 center.

Past seasons points production? Roy is a 1a capable center. They need playoff caliber players and we are looking for young talent.

Roy has been nothing but a liability on the ice this year, which makes him absolutely expendable. Zero offense, turnovers galore, and stupid penalties. Addition by subtraction, and if they can somehow convince someone to give up some young talent in return, an absolute no brainer IMO. There's been little indication he's going to regain form.

Roy's gotten the offense going this year a little which means it's still in him. That's pretty attractive to teams like the Caps who want more depth.

We need to keep this chatter to a minimum. :lol: When you are selling someone a turd you don't talk about how much it stinks. You talk about how big it is and how many chunks of "corn" it has, like it is a good thing.
