I believe it's for two second round picks. If so, nice.

So we have 4 second round draft picks this year then.

This is another fleecing of a deal.

So that gives us D right now of Myers, Ehrhoff, Sekera, Weber, Pysyk, and Pardy I'd say. No use bringing up McNabb when Pardy is the better option now. And since Sulzer is injured.

Hopefully both but if just one I'm praying to god it's Stafford.

I just saw the 2nd round picks are not this years at all. 2014 and 2015 draft.

So basically just gave him away for nothing, but I still think it's fine.

Is Darcy blowing GM's behind closed doors? It's great that he dumped Regehr and Leopold, but I just don't understand how he got so much in return for them.

I hope the fire-sale continues. We're not going to do anything anytime soon, so let's just start re-building now, while we can still get good value for the veterans.

What?

Did you think it was 2 picks from the same team in the same round in this upcoming draft? And do you think the fact that the picks are actually in 2014 and 2015 makes the deal worth nothing? Come on man, you're smarter than that.

Besides, what did we lose in the grand scheme of things? Absolutely nothing.

Two 2nd rounders would be enough to get Clowe. It's not nothing, a trade may be brewing because I don't see us keeping all these picks we've been getting.

That's three D-men traded in the last month (or less). If Darcy isn't making a play for Seth Jones and/or Darnell Nurse, I'll be pissed.

That said, if he could swing one of those two PLUS one of the top four forwards in the draft, I'd be both happy and impressed. Even if that means trading either Miller or Pominville.

we had a lot of d-men.

brennan was a casualty. we would've had to put him on waivers if we didn't do that deal with florida.

regher and leopold were gonna be traded by deadline anyway so we knew that was coming.

I'm more interested in Drouin or Mackinon. With the likes of Pominville and Stafford on there way out it'd be nice to replace them with one of the two future allstars.

why do u want clowe?

we already have kaleta and ott serving basically same role + a more offense from ott's side of things. trading for clowe would be just stock piling pests.

Because Clowe can and will actually fight, not to mention he has scored 60 points before.

The second rounders are 2014 and 2015.
McNabb is injured, probably pout for the season
