While I'm glad we're stacked with pics, I'm not sure I trust Darcy with them. Maybe he thinks he's on his way out and is ready giving the next guy the opportunity to succeed. Doubtful, but possible I suppose.

I don't like the trade. A 70-80 points guy who plays PP and kills penalty and is a good defensive forward as well.
We get a late first rounder and scrubs. That's not enough in my opinion.

hopefully this trade alone says that darcy can't do his job. if you don't have a good deal on the table that's not benefical to you why would you do it? he still had a year left on his contract.

Pegula do something about this. Getting pretty pathetic.

You've just entered the "Darcy Zone" where players get overvalued and overpaid.

I think you should his stats...Pominville has only scored more than 70 points twice in his career.

Our PK ...
2012 - 29th currently
2011 - 21st
2010 - 13th
2009 - 2nd

So after 10 years we get a 1st and 2nd and 2 prospects for Pominville (a second round pick) and a 4th?

In a deep draft we have 2 firsts and 2nds.

Also we have prospects that need to play and this was max value for one of "Darcy's Darlings."

You don't get more for Pominville in the last year of his deal.

Pominville isn't in the last year of his deal. He has the rest of this year and next year, per Capgeek.
