Really stout defensive play tonight. Clearing the shooting lanes, playing bodies coming across the blue line, and clearing bodies in front of the net. This pleases me.

They didn't panic tonight. I also like how they kept the puck out in front of them. They made a lot of good first passes and are keeping the puck moving and its really nullified the Bruins forecheck. They also used the ice well tonight, but my favorite thing for this game is how tenacious they were fighting for pucks.

No pucks in skates, no bad passes in their own end....although that last one by Ehrhoff in front of Miller I didn't like.

I don't really think people were picking them to win the division let alone the cup. I think lots of people think they would have been 4th-6th in the east. People who thought they were cup fav/division champs were blind optimists or crazy fans.
