There is no denying Miller has been our MVP so far this season. In the long run he can't do it alone.

Last year we got off to a good start also. If we don't get more from our top six forwards, there is no reason to believe this season won't be a repeat of last.

Still time for some guys to soldier up; and take the weight of this team off of Ryan Miller. Accountability....

Geez, I think my "Consistent scoring is an issue with this team" thread should be humming tonight.
But then again, it should have been since it started. It is a problem with this team. Why deny it, lets admit it and move beyond the petty arguements of whether it is or is not.

We aren't just speaking of the amount of goals in that thread, we speak of who is consistent on the team. Let's start looking for that 1 player that we can bring in that can help the team.

I'm still of the mind that the first two lines are far too complacent and elborate and vain. It's contagious.

No argument that Miller is an important part of this team. Goaltending is the most important part of EVERY team.

Yes, the team needs more from it's top 6 guys, and more consistency from those same players.

However, to insinuate that this team has zero talent is bullshit, and shows that you're just complaining to read your own words.

Well I want to ask you how many people on this team can shoot top shelf or deke? Maybe Roy or something. That's it. Our team is a grinding team with not much talent.

Miller has been our MVP and more.

But we still score more than he lets in most of the time.

I'm saying people on this team grind too much. It's okay, actually great, but come playoff time or facing good teams we need to be able to score with shots, dekes, and one timers something this team sees very little of.

Roy
Vanek
Connoly
Pominville
Stafford
Kennedy

They can all do it. Some of them deke too much.

They need to do it with more consistency, more effort.

Ever think that the newfangled concept called "The Wriste Shotte" might ever work, with this team?

I know, it's pretty radical, and all...

OT time, lets hope we get it now.

Great play in the third and plenty of chances, but Rask is standing on his head.

If I had my way he would be somewhere over Virginia right now on his way to Atlanta, along with Tallinder/Lydman and who ever else they wanted for Kolvy :(
