Our leader drops the mitts with these bastards twice in one game. It might not have been that he was ordered NOT to throw down with anyone, but maybe he was more so managing his hate. Either way, I've seen a big change in Rivet's game the last few. With him gone (which could be for a while) this could be a big dent to the boys. Goose, get better soon and Lindy, once he's back, slap that big C on his chest and let him lead!

Agreed. Shakira can go skate with the Ice Capades, where he belongs. Maybe he could find a new girlfriend there. ;)

Kaleta, boarding...the guy turned his back at the last second.

Kaleta boarded a guy, but it wasn't his fault. The Flyer player turned his back at the last second. He deserved what he got.

Connolly was great. 2 goals, 2 assists. He was in beast mode.

Rivet will be out a long time. Hurt his leg pretty badly.

Goose hurt his leg, too, but not as badly. He went into the boards and hurt his leg somehow.

Gaustad is the player that being out disturbs me the most, and I've said this before.

He's become a quality all around player. That was his sixth goal of the season already. I think he's our leading goal scorer now?

Both Vanek and Stafford have 7 goals.

MacArthur, Connolly, and Goose have 6 goals.

As I said in the GDT, the call on Rivet was horseshit. The Bruins player was holding onto Rivet's stick like it was the last fucking raft on the Titanic.

He's in a three way tie for 3rd with MacArthur and Connolly. Stafford is 2nd with seven goals, Vanek is 1st with eight.

Gaustad is one of only two positive players out of those five, however. The other being Stafford with a +1 to Gaustad's +6.
