Some thoughts...

I liked Stafford this game. He played hard.

Myers still rocks. Tried to beat the Devils alone almost every time he had the puck.

I kind of like Vanek tonight. He hustled for some of the game. In the 3rd period, down 3-0, whenever he had the puck, he tried to beat the Devils D. Why doesn't he do that more? He definitely has the skills and the hands for it. He almost always dumps the puck and chases in after it. I'd like to see him use his hands more.
And if he's on the 3rd line, playing with Kennedy and Grier, against the 3rd D pairing, he could rip them apart with those hands.

I hope Lindy rips them a new one.

Can't wait for Goose and Grier to get back....

Oh and sorry Tim Kennedy is not an NHL player. He is scared to shoot. He's weak with the puck and he is pretty bad in faceoffs.

If they end up in 10th, then I'll criticize as much as the next guy.

The difference for me? It's November, and they're 1 point away from the division lead. They're overall playing well, or did we forget they ripped off 4 straight last week?

When they win big I don't reserve my playoff tickets, and when they lose big I don't want to fire the coach and sell the team.

If you haven't noticed the vast differences between this year and last year to date, then I don't know where your head is.

This loss isn't concerning. The string of 6 and 7 losses in a row or more the past 2 seasons were concerning.

A loss to the hottest team in the NHL, looking for payback for the spanking we handed them in NJ, without 3 of our starters, with all new jumbled lines, after a morning of a regular practice, does not bother me, in the tiniest, slightest, measly little bit.
