Since there has been no GDT yet...

Two slumping teams desperate for a win. The Sabres lost four straight finishing up the west coast swing, and are now seeing dreaded Ottawa closing fast in the rear view mirror. The Devils were smothered by the red-hot Senators last night, 3-0, and are desperate for a win, too.

Likely a matchup of starting Olympic goalies, this will probably be a typical New Jersey snoozer game, with lots of trapping, clutching and grabbing. For Brodeur, this will make it 30 straight starts...a mind-numbing stat for a 37 year old goalie.

Tim Connolly, with a 16 game point streak, is quickly approaching Gil Perrault's 29 year old club record for points in consecutive games.

Here's the NHL Preview: http://sabres.nhl.com/club/preview.htm?id=2009020786

They need to put pressure on New Jersey and hopefully pop a few in early if they want to keep this game from having a neutral zone at maximum capacity.

Ottawa is on their biggest hot streak of the season and we're on our bgigest cold streak and they're still 5 points back with us holding three games in hand.

Things will even out, and we'll pull away again.

Remember 06-07? Everytime the sens got close we pulled away and buried them.

29 games! Holy moly, that's impressive.

We got one bloody day off. One day. And then we have to play the #2 team in the East? How is that even remotely fair?

No excuses. Never make excuses. Excuses are for losers :snooty: :violin:

Besides, NJ is playing the second half of a back-to-back on the road. If we lose it's because we were beat, not because of travel injustice.

We need Miller in net versus Brodeur. Hopefully we can end our losing ways tonight.

Awesome tune! Brings back memories of being home on break from college and the crazy drunken shit we used to do.

In order to be the best you have to beat the best.

No RJ sucks!!!

I've been on the road/lake for five days, and have missed the last two or three games. I hate seeing them lose, so maybe it wasn't such a bad thing!

I hope they bring there A game tonight - with the Devils having played last night it should be fairly even on the fatigue factor - just play like you want to win for sixty minutes and it should go well......provided we score the first goal!!

I see an almost equal disadvantage to both teams from their scheduling. Buffalo as we know just got home from a 7-game road trip. I'm pretty sure they must have traveled from Vancouver yesterday since their game Monday didn't end until about 1AM eastern. Take a 5-6 hour flight and throw in losing 3-hours to jet-lag and I'll wager the Sabres are still pretty tired. New Jersey played last night though, and had to travel themselves, albeit a much shorter distance, so I'd imagine they're beat too.

Well I get to watch this game.

As always TBN broadcasts the games on justin.tv, has yet to be posted on myp2pforum though.
