as well i'm glad they did not give up an empty net goal. and despite the loss miller did look awesome on the breakaways.

Still only preseason, so I'm not too worried. About it, we had a good preseason record and you can't win every game in 82 games so sometimes you'll see at least a few lackluster games in the long season.

I'm troubled by a core of veteran players who think that their jobs are locked up.

They are going to carry this shitty head-space into the season and I'll seek them out and castrate them all.

Ice, remember how bad our veterans looked for the Bills on offense during the preseason?

Even if they looked bad in one game, except Vanek as he was a beast chasing after pucks and playing great, they all have different attitudes in the preseason.

It's mostly for the rookies trying to make the cut, and some guys like Pominville, Connolly, Roy, don't have to play as hard because there just isn't anyone who is better then them on the team, and they know once the regular season comes then it is the true time to play balls to the wall hockey. No need to injure yourself in the preseason.

Miller seems like the only Sabres player who played well.
