That was a nice comeback. But waaaay to close for a team like the Sabres. If we play like we did against the Flyers today, in the playoffs then we won't make it past game 5.
Lil Nathan Gerbe's awesome. There's absolutely no quit in the guy. I was hoping someone nail Carcillo for those antics he pulled on Gerbe but maybe Kaleta will step in during playoffs if we do end up playing the Flyers.
Enroth made some key saves in the 1st 2 periods to keep it at a winnable game. It probably should have been 5-2 for the Flyers. Hopefully that kind of play is not extended into the playoffs.
The 2 good pieces of news are
1. Miller's back and didn't look out of place at all for the 20 mins he played
Hat Tip to Enroth who is basically the big reason why we are in the position we are in now. If he didn't play the way he did the last 2 weeks then we'd be probably looking at the final game to make the playoffs.
2. Vanek's heating up at just the right time. The guys a beauty. Hopefully he rips it up come playoffs.
