What? Miller stopped a shot going high glove? But that's his weakness!?!?!

Lately it's just been his goaltending.

It isn't...I'm actually baffled at this statement. I mentioned it to my friend who's a Leafs fan and he laughed.

I agree. Miller has had a rough season but I would never say that high glove is his weakness. If anything I thought it was one of his strengths.

Dale hunter should just come back to London because obviously he can't coach these premadonas. The caps are playing like a bunch of pussies.

Disagree. The team playing I front of him has played like crap, you can't blame all of how bad they are playing on Miller.

Man if we played this way all season we'd easily be one of the top teams in the league...

For the hell of it I googled "high glove side Miller" and got this blog ( http://bothwell.typepad.com/sabresblog/2011/12/leinos-goal.html ). I have never seen this before but it sure looks like I'm not the only one who feels this way right now.

Final thoughts on the 2nd period. Turnovers KILLING the Sabres! I can't blame Miller for much of this. He should have had the Jagr goal. By this point, there isn't a hockey player all the way down to mites that doesn't know you go high glove side to beat Miller. But, other than goal, the coming loss is completely attributed to poor defense and AWFUL turnovers. Get ready for an ugly 3rd period...

Miller's fault always seemed to be his 5-hole.

Ryan Miller looked foolish on the shot, barely waving at the puck as it beat him high glove side.

2 things. You've discovered one other person who feels the way you do )I know there's a couple more on this forum). This guy also bashes Miller's glove hand following the Jagr and Hartnell goal. If I remember correctly, Hartnell's goal was deflected and Jagr's goal was a snipe in the high slot. Besides, all you see are highlights of the goals. There aren't many highlights for a goalie's saves unless they are amazing.

If this is refering to the goal Kadri scored on him in the slot then who ever posted that is a fucking idiot. Also some moron on this very same board was bitching about the very same goal kadri scored.

True, none of these say that they were deflections or not but I'm just going on what I see DURING THE GAME. You know when they show close up views of goals over and over and over again. Like when they go to or from commercials, etc. I'm not trying to say that this has always been a weakness, matter of fact it hasnt. I agree that his 5 hole is more of a weakness in the past but this season it's high glove side. I say we agree to disagree on the subject.
