I am excited to see what Ennis can do in the middle. If Ennis is even remotely comfortable our future could be on the upswing in a hurry.

Kind of liking these lines. Maybe we'll see some scoring tonight if they can limit the errors. I'm sure the gloves are off now, so it's time for the players to show they will have some value here, or at least to another club if they want out. Unfortunately, The Habs are in the same boat. Guess we'll have to see who wants it more.

...and fuck you P.K., you diving, punk bastard.

Keys to the game

1.)Goalie duel(These teams cannot score for shit)
2.)Special Teams(Someone better score a goal because it could be the only one)

To make a point on Ennis, playing center is difficult, but defending a center is also difficult. I doubt too many guys wanna line up against Ennis while he now has the whole rink to work with. When Derek Roy used to played hard to get the puck, he was difficult to play against. too.

Ennis is quick as fuck.

This team actually looks decent thus far.

Little late getting here. I don't see any profanity yet so I'm guessing it is still tied at 0? The TSN/Habs feed I have on TV doesn't have the score at the top of the screen..

Fuck.

Yet another classic example of missing the net, and paying dearly for it. HUUUGE hole in the "the system".

I cannot see how having Leino, Boyes, and Kaleta is a productive use of a line.

Ennis and Gerbe are quick. Ennis is a playmaker, Gerbe is a scrapper, Stafford will have gimme's if he just puts himself in the right position.

Great play by Vanek. Turned a harmless, nothing into a good chance. Poor Pommers tho. All that target shooting, too...

Ya, stupid. Dress Luke, and sit Ellis. Then go with Leino, Adam, and Boyes.

So according to Sylvester, Ruff paired Myers and Ehrhoff because he wanted them to create more offense...yeah that's EXACTLY what they need - more risky pinches with personnel that are not well suited or experienced enough to be good at it, and more odd-mans or flat out breakaways the other way.

WTF! How the hell did they beat NJ? By commiting to defense. Now Ruff wants them to open it up again, because THAT'S worked so well so far this season?!?!?! Another loss, chalk it up. Damn Ruff is clueless sometimes.

Would it not make sense to pair a defensemen who is offensive with a stay at home? Seems pretty obvious to me. Maybe I am missing something.
