Although it's Lucic (and yeah, piss on him), I agree. I'm more concerned with the elbow that Leino took to the head in the 2nd behind the Bruins net. I think THAT play should be passed on and reviewed.

I'll agree it wasn't a hard stick to the head, but it's the principle of the thing. I'm just disgusted that he'd even respond like that. Swatting a player in the back of the head with a stick is just bush league and should always be viewed as intent to injure, especially since there wasn't a puck in 100 feet of them (thats about 30 Meters AudSabres fan ) and the whistle had already been blown. It's just petty bullshit like this that makes the NHL look like a goons league. It's the same as in the NFL of slapping a player in the back of the head after the play and acting like you were just walking away.

Exactly, that was not a hockey play in any form. If all players with a bit of testosterone acted like that, it would be an absolute mess. I think you make an example of him with a game even if it had no evil intention. It's equal to spitting on a guy in terms of provocation, imo. Heck, why not let guys slap each others faces? Lucic pushes the envelope, and at some point, Shanafuck has to call this assholes bluff.

Oh ya, awesome GDT, too. Who said there's anything wrong with the junkie? We just needed something to cheer about.

Um... it was Boston, they are bush league. I don't see a suspension out of it but shanahan should discuss it with the team and Lucic, but he won't.

I think we could get our GDT's going a lot more if they sabres were still on TWC. However since MSG wont budge, and wants to try to bully TWC, it remains off the air. I'll try to promote the site to a few of my local friends, and such, see if we can't get a revival in GDTs. Since tweeting during games causes me to lose track of the game
