the 5th win of the 10/11 (cause of the OT1 against the rangers, the Sabres have to get 6 wins in a row to make my prediction come true)

will we win? YES
will Vanek play? YES
will Ruff stop yelling? NO

Man i'd like to keep the momentum going...but...I have fears. Fears of a let-down after such an emotional high. Did we play that way because it was boston, or because the guys are done dicking around?

I credit it 100% to Ennis. As long as he's in the lineup, and we have our full D healthy, there's no stopping this team from playing this kind of hockey.

^This. Ennis as a center gives him more room to pick up some speed and fly down the ice. Give Ennis room and speed and the mofo is dangerous. Gerbes wristers coming across the blue line will start dropping in sooner or later.

I'm really interested to see who Vanek plays with tonight, I'd love to see Stafford with Boyes and Goose, and Vanek with Ennis and Gerbe (a lot of skill and speed on that line); but I have a feeling it's going to be Vanek with Goose and Boyes. Stafford looked great against Boston, but needs to string about 29 more solid games together to make up for his no show the first half of the season.

I like the Vanek with Ennis and Gerbe. Created some serious problems for the opposition. Get Vanek redirecting Gerbes wristers and we have something here.

The real question there is, can Gerbe play the RW instead of the left and still be effective?

Only one way to find out. Trial by error. What is the worst that could happen?

Very true, if it doesnt work for a game don't have to revisit it. I mean we've seen Vanek play out on the RW, it isn't the best option, but it certainly is an option there as well.

Yeah let the youngster experiment on the other wing. Vanek is elite for his position...keep him there.

I just fucking love Ennis. He's been my favorite player for as long as he's been here. He may make mistakes but that guy always tries his heart out.

Remember Gerbe's spin o rama goal vs. Philly?

He was playing right wing.
