I can't believe we scored 6 against Pittsburgh and won.

Holy shit, are we really seeing this? A short handed goal as well?

Where has this team been??

I was like a SHG also. And that was some skill by Ennis on his goal.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

I still want 7! ;)

Really seemed like the Pens just weren't into it at all. Couple mistakes, couple bad calls over all. Does today make up for the last few? Maybe not, but god damn it feels good for the moment.

Now if they can just play like this against the teams they're in a dogfight with to make the top 8 :P

They didn't play their best but they still wanted to win this game. It would have moved them into 4th place.

Definitely were times in this game I was getting scared about them blowing the 2 goal lead.

for fuck sakes. when we need wins they don't win and now that we don't need to wins due to the fact we want a high draft pick, they go out and beat one of the better teams in the league. What is up qith this team? It's like watching Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde.

It's like that girl ya want to dump, then she does something nice for you, and ya feel a little guilty. Haha

Anyways, glad I decided not to sell my tickets, and did go to the game. Tons of annoying Pens fans and Crosbaby jerseys(does he even play anymore lol) made it all the more sweeter. Fun ass game for sure. It could have even been 8 or 9-2. The Kaleta pass to Gerbe on the 2 on 1 was one I could have netted, and he hit the post. That one happened right in front of me.

Playoffs maybe a pipedream at this point, sure they needed to show this kind of effort many games ago, but for the time being, I'm just glad with the win. Don't worry; there is still plenty of time for them to shit the bed. If they win a few games between now and the draft, I for one won't contest it. Rather, I'll enjoy it.

Please, someone tell me you weren't happy to see the Pens and Matt Cooke dragged by their ball sacks over the hot coals in Buffalo today? Or the Bruins taking it in the ass 6-0. Tell me that shit wasn't nice for a change? Sure, this and the Bruins game do not erase what has already taken place, and yeah, the whole, "Too little, too late" motto can be preached. But common, folks. Just for once, it's ok to feel good when your team stomps a mud-hole in the jocks and stands proud, if even for one day.

I've already given into the fact this season is a write-off, but sure as hell I'll celebrate a win for what it is.

Oh ya, I just wanted to add that Paul Martin is a pussy, and he sucks. Every dump in near him he cowered from the hit, and lost puck possession in his own zone. I'd keep 1 Suckera over 2 Martins. Sure, suckera gives it up, but at least ya gotta pound it out of him. The Sabre's had his number for sure. They should have kept Goligosky, and shipped that loser out.

Johnson gave up some weak goals. He looked a bit limp out there.....

Buffalo skated harder than did Pittsburgh, you have to give them props for that effort on that day.
