Since there are no NHL games, figured I'd test the waters to see if anyone would be interested in following along with some AHL games during the lockout. Was going to start one of these tonight for the Crunch/Amerks game, but wasn't sure if there would be interest. Judging by the twitters, there could be some kicking of the tires. Anyway, we play the baby leafs on Saturday and I can do my best to track down an internet feed for it. Managed to find one for tonight's game so one would think it shouldn't be too hard to find one for tomorrow.

Anyway, if you're looking for a hockey fix, I'll do my best to resurrect this place!

Just got back from the Amerks/Crunch game tonight. It was a great time.

I was impressed with Foligno, Hodgson, Tropp, and Porter. Finley and Tarnasky had two quick but good fights. Pysyk started out slow but was much better as the game went on and made some good defensive plays towards the end of the game. Girgensons had a good hit but that was about it for the game from him. Luke Adam didn't stand out, but did do a few little things such as cutting off a defender to give his teammate an extra step on a breakaway and had a few good clears.

Also got a cool little gift bag from the team for tweeting my seats!

Also, I believe the AHL website will be providing live feeds for all of the game this season.

^ Yeah, he took a low hip-check as he was skating down the boards on the 5 v 3 PP and struggled to stay out. As he was skating towards the bench, Mancari scored.
