Sabres dropped the first of a home at home series against Whocaresolina and look to rebound on home ice. Going into this game, I'd be looking for an industrial strength staple gun to keep some of these guys on the bench after Thursday night's game. Here's to a different team showing up on Friday.

At least we didn’t blow a lead like the Make Beliefs did tonight. Right?

More to come...

Dan Ellis won't be the sieve Enroth was, but it appears it was a big mistake not to play Miller tonight(iow it won't balance out). Maybe a 2 pt. mistake by the coach.

I'm almost ready to let Lindy the juggling clown start juggling. FES seems lost.

Lets hope Miller plays a bit better than Enroth did.

The offense kept us in the game to that point.

Yeah....I seem to recall a bit of magic with F-E-S...but that shit is gone and it's time to switcharoo.

That game really sucked, i'm soooo glad I did not go. That would have put my lifetime record of seeing the sabres play in raleigh at 1-6.

I really should just stop showing up to the sabres games in raleigh (kind of like the sabres...)

Paul Hamilton tweeted this as of this morning..

EDIT:
FYI you can embed tweets now like this

Miller going back in is an obvious bonus. Enroth looked wobbly but at the same time, didn't really get much help from the guys in front of him. I'd say another stinker like last night and Lindy changes things up. Myself, I'm parking Myers’ ass in the press box tonight for either Weber or Brennan just as a wakeup call.

The FES line either needs to shit or get off the pot, and soon. They've had some nice plays, but that line needs to start putting the puck in the net.

I may take some flak for this, but I'd be all about trying Grigo on the 2nd line center. If the kid is supposed to be as good as they claim, give him a shot, and see what he does. I don't see him getting as many chances on the 3rd. I know, we're only 3 games into the season, but it's best to prevent a nosedive and change things up before the ship goes down.

Hell, one more game like last night and I'm all for dressing Lafontaine and Perreault for a game if it changes things.

I don't know...he's getting some PP time and I'll just say his blind passes to the other team haven't been impressing me.

Haha, tried to capture the spirit of the thing, ;)

Further news, looks like it's Leino's hip that is bothering him so that could be looking long term, all things depending. Also, Lindy has no intentions on shaking things up (line wise) yet.

I'm not as advanced in the world of the twitters yet. Actually, I still find it hard to operate calculators at times.

Baby steps, :P

If the team plays completely different tonight, then we can never rest Miller again.

Key to this game? HIT. HIT EVERYTHING. In Toronto and Philly we got the puck circulating so much because the other team was hesitant to touch it. The only one hitting a lot last night was Ott.

I think this is a pretty important point you've made. We've seen lindy lose trust in a backup and ride miller like a tijuana whore. If the team is totally different tonight that might serve to send lindy into panic mode regarding regularly resting ryan.
