Looks good to me. Last time I had anything to do with the opening post in a game day thread, it turned into a whole lot of ugly. Although, Crosscheck has this thing with Vagisil the last while, so I'd maybe toss in the mention of that

Going to miss the start of this one today since I'll be at hockey for the first time since before the holidays (ankle issue). Hope when I come home and turn on the game, we're kicking some Crapitals ass all over the ice!

Hurricanes were in a winless season, and came and won against us with ease.

Capitals are in an even longer winless season.

Caps 7-2 is my prediction. Lindy always says stuff, but I don't think the team ever listens to him. We'll get the same effort as the past two games.

Was Grig going to be benched this game? I thought I read that somewhere because Lindy didn't want to burn another one of his tryout games.

Tonight would be his last game if he's to go back to juniors.

A lot of teams are shaking off the rust and playing like they are capable of where as we are still playing like a bunch of strangers....minus our top line. Crappy passes, people out of position, broken communication, people skating slow who should be faster and much more. There are bright sides like our grit, Vanek Pommers and Hodgson, Miller and the fact that we are still at 50/50. We did play a great team back to back for the losses so it is hard to get a good grip on where our team stands but that being said, we looked like utter crap against the Canes. Hope these guys can pull their collective heads out of their asses and start playing together.

Fuck...I retract my statements on Vanek since he's not playing today. Ugh.

I wish I could watch the game on Gamecenter Live. I got the subscription because I don't have cable, so therefor, I do not have NHLN or NBCSN, so why should I get blacked out?

Hopefully we win, and thankfully for streams.

A bit sloppy in their own zone and shooting wide. But other than that, typical Sabres.

2-1 now Capitals.

CoHo accidentally tipped it over miller, didn't look like he meant too though, hit his shaft of his stick.

Sabres look slow and sloppy. We don't have enough skill on our forward lines. We won't win this game.

redundant statement of the ever all time.

of course he didnt mean to tip the puck past his own goaltender.
