Eh, Kaleta didn't check him, and got pinned between the boards and the goalie.

I don't even care if he did. The trapezoid should provide a netminder who's getting rid of the quick quickly some protection...if he's gonna sit and stick handle and walloff the fore checker from the puck ...he's padded up.

They are playing with a bit more intensity over the last game. Better D-zone coverage too.

They got better at getting to pucks later in the period.

OH FUCK THE LEAFS BETWEEN PERIOD ANNOUNCER...if a skater ran into Miller...nothing ever happens...it's been open season on him like forever. How FUCKING DELUSIONAL is the Toronto Leafs media? They were basically calling Kaleta a coward 2-3 times, but if a Leaf draws a penalty...it's the best play ever in the history of the National Hockey League.

Statutes move more than the Sabres PK did.

The Toronto refs are in the house...took them long enough.

Wouldn't of mattered there, great move by Kessel to make Miller bite on his fake shot.

I call it now. We will see close to no effect of the coaching change this season. This team is just bad, on paper and in reality.

Get over the line...cute pass, turnover...repeat.

This team is just so scared. I'm done. There's gotta be Law & Order reruns on somewhere.

It is just so unnerving to watch this team play. This must be what Columbus feels like watching the Jacket play. Wait for Nash to do something...whoops now what do they watch?

Imagine Vanek getting traded next year and we have the exact same situation as in Columbus. At least they try something different and hired a new GM

That's my point you either have to pay him or trade him...Pegula probably leans towards pay...but with the salary waste on the roster will there be enough?

Sad thing is as as bad as the Sabres have played at times, it should be at least 3-2 with them in front. Finish...Bure and Afinogenov. One had it, one didn't.

Gerbe might bounce off the guy, but he'll hit anything. Watched in at Boston College....no fear. The anti-Hecht.

I'm not sure. Sometimes I feel this team needs a complete rebuild around their young talent. They might get a lot in return for Vanek.

EDIT: I wonder what Brian Burke would do :D

I like how many different line combos Rolston is trying. Literally have been like 10 different ones trying to get something going.
