What's the special teams coach still doing with a job? This is plain stupidity. Ahhhhh well hopefully Pegula is smart enough to pull the trigger on a wholesale change before the draft.

0-5 on the power play. Glad I went out to dinner instead of watching this crapfest. Anyone know if I can get a refund on my center ice package?

So has Gerbe been completely useless, or what?

No, not great, but better than Staff. Feel sorry for Enzo.

Yuppers would way rather have Gerbe out there then Stafford. Such a waste of space Drew is.

Because Stafford needs to get yelled at to perform but the rest of the team didn't like getting their feelings hurt, so the gentler Lindy Ruff resulted in the bad Stafford to return..

How many straight games have we been booed off home ice?

Glad I was working during this game then.

Have they at least played with some sort of heart and passion. And if Columbus wins tonight, we are dead last in the league.

Dunno, but I'm thinking of driving 500 miles to do it. Embarrassing this team it is.

So when is it not too early to criticize Ron Rolston's coaching ability?

That's encouraging. Just shut out by the Islanders. 0-6 on PP I believe.

Well it looks like the players simply don't care then.

What's worse that we can't seem to stop taking penalties at the end of games, or that we actually got the zebra's arm up with 10 seconds left to go...down 4-0?

When your GM thinks you're awesome and the other GMs won't deal with him because he asks for a ridiculous return on a marginal player why would you care when you're an apple in Grandpa Darcy eye?

Oh look Hecht had zeroes across the board with 1 faceoff won and 1 faceoff lost...9"45 in ice time and 15 shifts....makes total sense to not release him.

You know I kinda like the olde Sabres who got out hit, but scored more goals. Seems like team toughness has turned our hands to stone.

But I saw a stat that the year before the 04-05 lockout only 2 teams averaged 3 goals or for the season. Last year 3 teams average 3 goals or more for the season.

I've had more intense bowel movements. You didn't miss anything, man.

Sorry.

Well we have a more cerebral coach now....in their minds they're great.

It's been two games, but I'd put money on the idea that they look pretty much the same, thus far.

On that note, I'm watching the flames/wild game and hope both teams beat the ever loving shit out of each other.

See what you've done to me, Sabres? Yeah, sit on that for a bit. That/s right..

:/

The only bright side of this. All the Ruff haters can shut the fuck up. The team showed no reaction whatsoever. It wasn't that Ruff got old and stale and they weren't listening. They are just bad, plain and simple.

Ruff couldn't do anything. Why keep him?

Bad team, fire the coach? really? Hire anybody, this team won't respond. I'm not opposed to the coaching change. I just think he wasn't the problem.
