I like the Otter playing the protective role with the littles just skating and wreaking hovoc all over the ice. That line is pure energy and has proven they can take over a game. Now if we can get that first line going. I want Grigs on the third line with Foligno

After 40, I don't feel as good as I did at this point in the Tampa game, but still, as long as we're even just that one goal better, I'll take it. If we win it 6-5, 2 points is 2 points.

Overall, nothing has really stood out to me (other than Gerbe playing like a beast), pretty routine for the most part. Not a fan of the play of the first line but that could just be a case of the bounces not going their way. That being said, when luck isn’t on your side, you have to make your own chances. Could just be that the kitties are leaning on that top line because they know what it can do. Miller is Miller tonight, when he sees that puck, he’s making the save.

Regardless, 40 in the books, 20 to go. Win these next 20 minutes and you win a game. Win the game, we have back to back wins.

Which also means, titty sprinkles.

Well, I think that there's a line of people to cave in Thornton's head, it's a different team we're seeing out of Boston. I mean where has Lucic been? I mean if there's only Kaleta and Hecht, Lucic throws his body around, but with Scott, Ott, Kaleta, and Foligno (when he plays a physical game) Julien is not gonna allow Lucic get mashed up by a 3 minute a night guy.

So I think you're definitely onto something there. It's interesting that after Thornton got his head caved in...the Bruins by and large have backed off. It would be nice if there was a guy that was a little more skilled and could play a grit game...not even a 30 goal type like Lucic, but say in a year or so if a guy like Zemgus could put in 15 goals and hold the center of the ice...I'd reup my center ice for that.

That wasn't a good play by Myers.

I don't get why we have such a difficult time clearing the zone. It looked like we were on the PK the last minute and a half. Did the Sabres coaching staff just stop placing an importance on skating or something?

Hockey dumb right there...8 and change to go, and your team hasn't generated a decent scoring chance in a period and a half...and it's your 3rd penalty of the night?

That's just hockey stupid, extremely stupid hockey out of Pardy.

Every time the Panthers get the puck they take our blue line with ease..it happens every game...don't get that either.

Because if Vanek knocks you off your skates...it shouldn't be a penalty.

Clean faceoff win with a good screen on Miller...just another example of how this team can't finish out games. Win that faceoff and the game's all but over.

Just give it a little tappy, tap-tap-tappy.

Vanek made that look too easy.

2 wins in a row. Is that the first time since our first two games?

It's the first since Feb 7/9, I think now.

Wasn't the prettiest, but a win is a win.

We are playing a better defensive game now, even if we can't get it out sometimes, most of the shots are coming from the outside and Miller sees them. Myer's game is vastly improved, So glad Sekera is back, and Leopold is out. Pardy got a few weak calls against him but he shouldn't go back down. I'm also glad Brennan isn't playing too.

Yes it has been, Montreal and the Islanders.

It felt like their first two wins since the turn of the century.
