A friend of mine has the alt red jersey with a #71 Hecht on it. I still wear my black and white Barnes jersey and my black goathead Vanek jersey. I don't know if I'll wear my slug Max jersey much though, but mainly because it's too big on me (it looks like a nightgown for Christssake...)

PLEASE never go to a gold jersey it sucked when Nashville tried it. Just use the 70's throw back royal blue as the third. That would make me and a ton of sabres fans happy.

I wouldnt oppose a gold jersey if it was done right.... Nashvilles "Gold" jersey was actually Mustard Yellow... THAT is why it looked bad... if a gold jersey is done right it looks good, look at the Winter Classic Bruins jersey... that is a good looking jersey!

After watching the Norway v USA game and seeing those beautiful red Norway uniforms it got me thinking about the old buffalo bison unis. The ones with the bottle cap as the logo.

Any chance these could be the sabres thirds next year? I know the bisons were not a NHL team so would the copyright laws not allow it?

I would prefer those as the thirds over the rumored gold ones. We all know Quinn will fuck them up.

After seeing the original home white jerseys at the Winter Classic, it would be crazy not to go to those as a home - or at least road uniform, depending on what the league does.

Then again, under one Lawrence Quinn, The Slug uniform became a reality, despite the initial impression it had to be a fucking joke.

No additional piping or pit stains on these though, please!!
