Just got a new blank third for Christmas. I want to get it lettered. Any recommendations as to where to go?

I know they're heat pressing a lot of the numbers and names now, I'd much rather have them stitched if possible. I know I could take it to the Sabres store but they've historically messed them up (remember how many front numbers ended up in the armpits?) and I'd imagine they heat press them.

Laux will do them but it may take up to 6 weeks as they send them out. I'd rather have someone local do it - but they absolutely must be 100% perfect with the font and numbers.

Any suggestions?

Jersey Express. im not sure where it is but i know its something strange, like above a car dealership. but this place is great. my uncle has been going there for years and has so far not been disappointed. when my uncle got a replica of the 1950's canadians jersey (when it was still a sweater), jersey express managed to match the fabric that was used then to get a perfect replication for a Richard jersey. everything they do is NHL authentic and relatively cheap compared to other places.

that seems cheap for an official NHL location and, as s2s said, they have a habit of fucking up.

Going to give a bunch of places a call tomorrow.

I looked up Jersey's Express - they are above the car dealership next to Jim's Steakout across from UB South.

Also have heard recommendations for Dave & Adams - apparently they do lettering - as well as Sorrentino's Sports in Tonawanda. Someone also recommended to me SSC Sports Apparel in Blasdell - apparently they do the lettering for the actual player's jerseys.

The Sabres Store messed up my last jersey (retro third from 06-07) and I had to wait an extra 3 or 4 weeks for them to fix it. They might be better now that the demand isn't that great, but I'm not jumping at the chance to have them do it again.

Jersey Express it will be. Thanks for the recommendation. I called a bunch of places today - they all say they do multi-layered twill with stitching, Jersey Express was a few bucks cheaper.

Sorrentino's up on sheridan near Ted's hot dogs. it used to be a red barn restaurant. so it is a red barn, but they are reasonable.
