I have such a jersey boner for this sweater! Time to save up for a Lucic! (I don't think it shows well enough that it's BROWN and yellow, not black and yellow)

It was revealed during the State of the Bruins 2009 event at TD Banknorth.

I know it's only jersey news, but I can think of one mod who is gonna be all over this stellar yellow jersey.

Gatta love the commercial for it though... Neely starring down the bear as he roots through a box of the new duds in Neelys office, only to be caught by cam. lol. The B's have to have one of the best marketing dept. in the league! Their commercials are awesome!

It was originally a knitted-wool sweater, in the 1920's - An adaptaion of a rugby-type of jersey...that's just the way it was. Corny.

the current third is pretty bad ass.

i would like the bruins jersey if it was a more literal copy of the jersey. the team changed several things on it that make it look more modern then it should.

I would love it if the Sabres incorporated that color scheme with the yellow and blue for our 3rd (of course, obliterating the slug). Great, great uniform... one of my all-time favorites.
