Everyone in Buffalo needs to get together and buy Stamkos a beer. Tomorrow, the Panthers play the Jets and if the Panthers win, they clinch the South East. We're all gonna be Jets fans tomorrow, because if the Cats clinch the division they won't have a single reason to even try and compete with Washington on Thursday other than spite. |

That is true, but they will be eying for it I bet. All I know is we need to win out and hope Washington loses either one or both of their remaining games if we win out. |

The magic number for the Sabres regarding Washington is seven. The total points earned by the Sabres combined with the total points missed by Washington has to add up to seven. Sabres can go 0-0-3 and get in if Washington goes 0-2, hypothetically. The magic number for somehow passing the Panthers is eleven. Panthers have to miss out on 5 points at least and the Sabres need to pick up all six of their potential points. |
