GREAT fight from Jarome Iginla and Jamie Benn tonight. Points to observe: Iggy takes his helmet off right away and even though Benn doesn't, he doesn't wear a visor. Benn absolutely CRANKED Iggy with the first solid punch of the fight. |

Great fight, kind of liked that the refs let it keep goign until Iginla could land one but they could have stopped that fight a lot sooner. |

Hockey fights are stupid. The fighters risk injury including concussions which the league is trying so hard to prevent. Is this scenario stupid or what. Head shots are penalized with suspensions or fines, except when the result of a big fist to the face, or a fall to the ice without the helmet. The Hockey Olympics are still great without fights. If fans lust for fighting, then they are dumber than I thought. |
