We've all hated Toronto for so many years, but I have to say, my hate for them has waned. It's hard to really get a good hate on for a team that stinks so bad for so long. That being said, here's my plea to them:

Dear Toronto Maple Leafs,

Please try to secure as high a draft position as possible by losing your remaining games. Those two wins would certainly help us out.

Ham

It still feels good when they do not make it. I've gotten a lot of grief this year from Maple Laugh's fans about how bad the Sabres were. Dead last in the East was a low as it got. Now they have big "E" next to their team name in the standings. :)

The hatred has lessened a bit given their seemingly perennial futility, but getting into 8th the night the Leafs are eliminated makes it sweeter for me, especially with all the early season hype tossed onto Toronto.

I'm going to wait until we are officially in, just so not to jinx anything, before I start tooting my, "GOLF LEAFS, GOLF" horn.

Funny to think that our fate will still be determined by how we do vs Toronto.

Oh, by the way, time to change the sig, Ham

Too bad for them...this seemed like this was the year that they would make it.

As I said in the GDT, the call on Rivet was horseshit. The Bruins player was holding onto Rivet's stick like it was the last fucking raft on the Titanic.
