For my blog I want to do an NHL preview. But, let's be honest, no one wants to read me drone on about all thirty teams. So I want to keep it short, simple and interactive.

Borrowing from the Herd, I thought I would do the "6 words or less" NHL preview. It's simple, sum up a teams season using 6 words or less. I'll post an update later including the responses.

I'll add a few now.

Same team, could make noise if healthy.

Phoenix
Can you just move north already?

Montreal
Bigger dumpster fire than Britney Spears.

Atlanta
We play hockey comrade? For Motherland!

1). Pittsburgh Penguins - Should pick up where they left off.
2). Washington Capitals - Are goaltending and defense good enough?
3). Boston Bruins - Can Thomas keep it up?
4). Philadelphia Flyers - Lame duck goaltender will spell doom.
5). Buffalo Sabres - Could make noise if everyone's Healthy
6). Carolina Hurricanes - Not bad, not spectacular. Yawn.
7). New York Rangers - Learn to build through the draft.
8). New Jersey Devils - Team is older. Reign ends soon.


9). Toronto Leafs - Headed in right direction? We'll see.
10). Florida Panthers - Will just miss playoffs yet again.
11). New York Islanders - Does Nassau still meet code?
12). Montreal Canadiens - Dumb fans, too small, choke choke.
13). Tampa Bay - Chalk up another top pick.
14). Atlanta Thrashers - Some say they could surprise. Seriously?
