He looked every bit a third or fourth liner while he was here. Decent in that role; but that role doesn't command the big bucks.....

Oh so true, unless your name is Paul Gaustad...but then again, he's one of the best 3rd line checking centers in the league. Moore is a talented player, but by no means worth the 2M+ payday he was commanding. At most, I'd of given him the same deal we gave Paille 2 years 2.2M and if you continue to put up points, we'll talk extension.

All in all, he's score 25-35 points this year, and be about an even player. You get what they paid for him.
