Marty Turco is a free agent at the end of the season, and the Stars haven't talked to him about an extension. That said, the Dallas Morning News writes that Turco could be traded.

"I would say that if they decide to trade him, it wouldn't be until later in the season once they have more information on him," Mike Heika writes.

But for now, the plan is to ride him into the playoffs. So if the Stars fall out of contention, this trade talk could heat up.

Whaddya think, offer Miller and a first?
Kidding!

Hardly a hot commodity, as his play has tailed off the last couple seasons. Maybe a change of scenery would help; but he would be a risk for anyone giving up anything of quality for him.

Brian Burke's ears are probably ringing..............

Well with how bad Huet has been in Chicago, Turco might end up there

eh, i think detroit needs a goalie more then chicago. but sadly, with osgoods contract, and holland wont embarrass him, it might mean jimmy howard gets the shaft, AGAIN!

Detroit does need a goalie but they are right at the cap if they want turco they'd have to get rid of at least two players, Chicago can get rid of one guy like Huet or Campbell's contract.

I doubt Detroit has the cap space to take on Turco's contract.

If Tampa had any brains they'd get him - They need a goalie, desperately. AND they have the cap to afford him.

Tampa would benefit immensely from taking on Turco.
