Canadiens just took a 1-0 lead late in the 1st. Not sure who I'm rooting for since I can't stand Atlanta, but I guess it's best if they can put Montreal deeper in the muck.

Did I ever tell you guys that I'm pretty sure I sat next to Brian Gionta at a Sabres/Bruins playoff game in Boston in 1999? He's been one of my favorites for a number of years. And of course I love Montreal. So my rooting interest here is crystal clear.

Montreal is all over their asses...what's with these Atlanta goalies standing on their heads?

When the coaching staff in ATL. got tired of seeing the 3rd degree burns on their netminders shoulders, coupled with losing bad games in previous years, they said, "FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST! I've tried everything, you guys just don't respond. The play book has been read from front to back, upside down and in brail. I give up.. Just...stand on your heads."

So they did it. And, it worked.

The end

:P

MY GOD!!!

Pavelec is on fire! He's stopping everything! Montreal can't buy a goal!

They're already saying the Spacek is not the answer for what's needed on the powerplay...

My god. I'm chuckling in glee. Oh, the humanity. Oh, the possible misery in Montreal...

Shootout...tickticktick...

Pavelec may just steal the spot on the Czech team's roster that Hasek returned to take. Too bad he couldn't steal a win tonight.

Halak is so much better than Price right now, it's ridiculous.

Really nice move by Gionta to win it.
