According to Greg Wyshynski via twitter.

Congrats on a great career, Mike! Thanks for so many solid years as a Sabre.

Yup, congrats Mike Grier. Always a fan favorite and he was deserving of that. Good Luck!

Always liked the bloke. Hard nosed player. Best wishes on his journey after.

Wait, which one is Grier again...?

:D

Great career Mike. He was a great role model for many younger players in the NHL. Always one of my favorites.

Grier grew up in Boston, but I wonder if he will settle in Buffalo, as many Buffalo fan favorites have.

Guy only played there what...3 years? I doubt he developed that strong of a connection with the Queen City.

He lived here in the summer. At least I assume he did. He frequented the drive thru at my summer job. (Dude loved his Strawberry Julius).

Anyway, congrats on a great career Mike! Always one of my favorites. I wish him well on all of his post-hockey ventures.

If Miller and Myers were playing like they did last year, we'd probably be over 500 right now.

If I had decided to jerk off instead, I probably wouldn't be paying child support...
