Completely agree that this was classless. We don't want the NHL to become a joke the NHL has become with some of the completely asinine things that happen after a touchdown.

It's a phrase that basically means, if you wanna see the Sabres at the top, turn the rankings.

What bothers me most is that it doesnt take a 'sniper' to tap in that goal. do that shit after something amazing if you have to. Or just dont do it.

I don't support it, but whatever, it wasn't that bad, it was already over before Lecav attacked, and it was harmless.

Ha yea that seemed like a ridiculous celebration when his teammates did all the work...

Only problem I have with that goal celebration is that he didn't snipe shit. Other than that whatever.

This. People's reactions to TD and goal celebrations are just ridiculous. They just get worked up over nothing, and are trying as hard as they can to find things to be offended by. People like whining. Celebrations are just part of competitive sports, and they're entertaining.

If Ovechkin scores an amazing goal by dangling around a defender then sniping it, sure, celebrate. But when Anisomov is right there in front of the net you just come off as an arrogant ass.

Yea, I see your point and I agree that you shouldn't break out the fireworks over a tap-in. I just think that people who get offended by celebrations should get a life.

Yeah, they should probably calm down. Calling him a douche is one thing, but wanting to eliminate the whole celebration thing together? Weak.

Yeah, not cool. Theo Fleury did that machine gun celebration with his stick at the Soviet Union bench that helped eventually lead to that Punch Up in Piestany.

This was in no way directed towards the shooting of VA tech, and it's really weird that you would even bring that up. I'm guessing any picture of a gun, or anyone with a design of a gun on their clothing or anyone who owns a gun is in poor taste as well? Is playing MW3 in poor taste?

playing MW3 is in poor taste because call of duty games are boring.

the shooting was big news yesterday. i dunno what to tell you, it could be taken as poor taste.

its just poor taste all together. I don't mind Ovie jumping into the glass, Kaleta doing his kneel thing, etc but I think this showboating goes way too far. The NFL has let it get to stupid levels now.

Yeah, everything can be taken in poor taste. Doesn't mean it should be taken that way.
