As a straight up trade it makes some sense. Not sure about a first though.

Carter and Richards back together; PARTAAY!!

I know that the kings need offense but I know many of u probably don't get to watch many kings games but the kings gave up a pretty darn good d-man in Johnson. I think the kings gave up to much for carter. Oh well another bad move by Lombardi at the deadline by giving up too much

This I agree on if it was johnson for carter straight up but I think the kings overpaid with the first rounder.

I honestly don't think they gave up too much for him. Johnson hasn't been the DMan they've expected him to become just yet. He's still really young and with Carter playing in a better system, or hopefully more offensively gifted team he should start producing again.

They've got Kopitar, Richards, and Carter as Centers now. I'm betting Carter will play wing on one of the two top lines, if not Center on them and Maybe Richards plays wing.

I guess the Kings were tired of asking Jack Johnson "Must I always be waiting, waiting for you?".

I doubt that's the case. If they make playoffs and do a good job in first round whether its an exit or not I believe he will stil be there.

Good trade for them though. Columbus is where players go to bury there careers, Jeff Carter will have a pretty big impact on the Kings Roster. Just sucks that they still have Penner. Can't believe Blue Jackets weren't dumb enough to take his salary on.

Some difficult decisions in a good way for the coach.
