I know many have written off the season, but I for one want to see extended Sabres hockey coverage this year :P

Sharks did the Sabres a big favor tonight but the Bolts are shitting the bed against the Jets. Really seems like they've checked out of this one.

I gatta say, for 15,000 capacity, DAMN them Jets fans can get loud!

Jets fans are among the best in the NHL. Very passionate group.

Though the Jets will have an 8 point edge after tonight, the Sabres hold 3 games in hand.

Buffalo is just 6 points behind the Leafs with 1 game in hand.

A win tomorrow would be HUGE.

Might as well update :D Washington and Toronto are both losing right now. Tampa is currently up by 1 on the Habs, so hopefully Montreal comes back.

Watching the Nucks and Yotes. DAMN it's weird to see BZK in that uniform. The toothless wonder looked good on the backcheck though..

AV isn't a stubborn ass like Lindy either. He gave Kassian a shot in Booth's spot already after a nice scoring play with Hank. As I recall, Vanek and Kassian had a similar play, but it didn't get BZK a shot on a better line. Hell, it probably got him sent down.

I wish Kassian the best and hope he does well, I just hope that Hodgson does better :P Both for the team and because then we can say we won on that trade.

On other league notes: Stupid Islanders shit the bed and gave up a 2-0 lead on Washington so Caps ended up winning, as did the Bolts. Toronto however still continued on their sucking ways. and they play again tomorrow, and will hopefully continue on with the suckage.

Standing update-With the Caps win, they overtook 8th so it looks like:

8-Washington 63 GP 69 Points
9-Winnipeg 65 GP 68 Points
10-Toronto 63 GP 65 Points
11-Tampa 63 GP 64 Points
12-Buf 62 GP 62 Points

The only games that really mean anything tomorrow are Us and Anaheim, and Toronto and Chicago. A win tomorrow puts us right back tied with Tampa, and 5 points out of 8th. Lets see if this team can push through the Jet Lag and fight.

Loving the Leafs losing. Now if the Rangers and Bruins would lose I'd be happy. I'd say those are the teams I dislike the most.

Panthers can wake up anytime now and do us a big favor by coming back to beat the Jets. They have 20 min to do so.

Panthers realllllly shit the bed tonight. So Winnipeg hops into 8th, but we got some games in hand on them so the Sabres just got to keep getting as many points as possible. I have a feeling this is all gonna go right down to the wire.

Woo! 4 points out, 2 games in hand.

Games to keep an eye on tomorrow

Washington vs Devils-Washington will have the edge cause NJ played and lost tonight, but hopefully the Devils kick some Caps ass.

Tampa vs Rangers-The less teams we gotta battle with the better so lets hope the Rangers can help us out by beating Tampa.

So far both Jersey and the Rangers are winning.

Jersey up 3-0, Rags up 1-0.
