The title pretty much says it all. Who are your rooting for from each conference and who do you think takes the cup home?

From the East I have to root for the Rangers. The have Biron (my favorite player) and they are the only team I actually like in the East. I have nothing against the Devils or Panthers, I just dont feel one way or another about them.

From the West, I would like to see the Blues or Predators go for it. No real reason for the Blues and for the Predators, Rinne is great plus they have Goose.

As for who wins the Cup...shit...Nashville?

I'll be cheering for Philadelphia and Florida in the East and Phoenix and St Louis in the West.

I've always liked the Rangers as a back-up. Callahan is the prototype player that I like to root for and wish the Sabres had. Brad Richards jealousy won't get in the way of it either. I thought they were short on depth at the start of the season, but they've stayed pretty healthy and survived missing Staal for a while at the start. I don't necessarily like Tortorella, but he's perfect in NY. Every other team in the East I hope gets a team-wide staph infection...except Fla.

In the West I've always liked Vancouver, but Lapierre and Burrows are jack asses. St. Louis is a great underdog story and that city really deserves some reward for years of agony while being a great fan base.

New York vs. St. Louis - don't care who wins though.

I'm pulling for either Vancouver, the Blues, or Nashville.

Mostly Nashville.

My first round picks are as following:
Rangers over Ottawa
Bruins over Capitals
Devils over Panthers
Philly over Pittsburgh

Vancouver over LA
Blues over San Jose
Chicago over Phoenix
Nashville over Redwings.

We have to root against Nashville though so that Buffalo gets a better 1st rd pick. Otherwise I'd be rooting for them and Goose too.

I think it'll be:

NYR vs PIT in East Final with PIT prevailing in 6 games

NSH vs STL in West Final with NSH prevailing in 7 games

And for Stanley Cup my choice is Pittsburgh in 7 games.

I hope Canucks lose to LA lol I hate the fuckin Canucks hate them hate them hate them oh ya did I mention I hate them?

In real time that was very close, apparently on the Dupuis goal the official was going to call icing on that play but got bumped into by a player and his arm came down so an icing was waived off due to a blown call too.

But I didn't watch that goal so I dunno if it's true or not.

No lead is safe, especially 3-0 these days. Remember when it was safe?!

Matter of fact, the way both those teams have played and behaved, I think every puppy and kitten would be struck down with the first puck drop if they actually met.

I'm rooting for the Blues I think. I'm sick of Detroit, Vancouver, Chicago, etc. always being in the hunt. I'd like to see a different team win.

I want Chicago (2nd team) or the kings to win but I believe Boston will repeat. Boston is just too deep.

Agreed, I'd hate to see that happen though.

They are deep, but they won't repeat. Thomas isn't playing as lights out as he was last year.
