Sabres have 9 picks, with 2 1st rounders and 2 2nd rounders. Wonder if they might use a few in a trade? |

I know I'm in the minority about this but I don't believe they should move the first four picks without something huge coming back this way. This organization is so thin on good offensive prospects. I still believe u need to take the player that is the best available and it doesnt matter if it's a defenseman. I would like to take 4 skilled players with the top 4 picks and the rest of the draft they need to draft character guys. Should be interesting to see what happens in the next 24 hours. |

Philly trades Bobrovsky to Columbus for three draft picks, including the 45th pick today. Philly is going to be stacked for years to come if they keep making moves like this. |

Columbus with another boneheaded trade. Way too much to give up for bob. He isn't that good. Darcy might as well call howson and see what it would take to get johansen. He's a cente |

He's a cente Bob still has a little potential. A bit too much but at least it will get Mason going and give them a 2nd option. |

Howson asking price on Nash is very high and then he trades 3 picks for a mediocre goalie. He's an idiot. I don't like Darcy but Howson has no clue on what he's doing. |

I couldn't believe that trade actually happened. |

He was horrendous for several stretches but whenever he was on his game, he was a force. I mean, as bad as his season was, he did set their franchise record for consecutive minutes without allowing a goal. And they'll probably pick up a goalie who will develop into a good one somewhere in the draft, but even if they don't, it's been shown that having an elite goaltender can help you win championships, it's not necessary. |

Move the first two for a top 3 or a player already solidified in the NHL. Draft from 5 down is a crap shoot and we have 2 in the latter portions. Trade out for someone and let someone else gamble. Our time to gamble is over. We have a 2-3 year window coming up to make a serious move at a cup. Get someone to compliment Vans goal output and couple that with a team of solid 15-20 goal scorers and we are a force to be wreckened with. Two 30+ goal scorers and a bevvy of sound players that contribute they way they have. Hell move Roy and a first for someone and hold onto that late first rounder |

Anaheim trades Lubomir Visnovsky to the Islanders for a 2nd rounder. I heard Mike Ribeiro to the Caps, as well? |

Here's what would make my day. Derrick Poulliot falling to 21 or whatever Buffalo's second pick is. That guy will be a mid to late first round gem. |
