This trade makes absolutely zero sense. Are the Caps suddenly in win-now mode now that Ovechkin has a hot streak and they're back into the swing of things? Still, Forsberg for fucking Martin Erat? Are you kidding me Caps? |

According to a PHT article, the Caps were "souring" on Forsberg as a prospect. You don't give up on a guy that quickly the year you drafted him. That's insane. I really hope Forsberg ends up becoming a stud for the Preds. That would be hilarious. |

Darcy should've made a play for him. I'd assume Washington would've taken Stafford and something minor if they would accept Erat... |
