It’s going to be hard for me to watch the East. The only team that I can even stand is Pittsburgh.

I'm in the same boat. But sitting here watching game 1 of Sens/Pens, I'm finding myself rooting for Ottawa. They're the underdog to the mighty Penguins of course, but I also respect what they (Ottawa) have done this year with all these rookies and minus their two best players.

Bottom line is I really dislike pretty much all the teams left in the east. As far as the west, I'm for Jan Jose. But I barely even want to watch. It's unusual.

Yeah, this playoff year is disappointing for sure, but I'm kinda making myself watch it anyway. Except for the Bruins/Leafs series. I didn't watch more than 5 minutes of that series. I just hate those 2 teams too much.

I was okay with Ottawa beating the Habs, and you just can't help but like Karlsson, but other than him, I have no use for Ottawa. Unless of course they beat the Pens and meet the Bruins! Then I'll love them! Can't stand the Rangers, but I'll be rooting for them hard against Boston.

It is unusual, but maybe it's just par for the course for such a fucked up year in the NHL.

Forgot to mention that this year's playoffs is a big reason why I'm so gung-ho on watching the Memorial Cup this year.

So, how ironic would it be if Boston beats Pittsburgh in the ECF for Jerome Iginla?

As I said in the GDT, the call on Rivet was horseshit. The Bruins player was holding onto Rivet's stick like it was the last fucking raft on the Titanic.
