During this afternoons tilt, Stamkos was back checked and falls as he's flying towards the net and his right low legs hits the post. You can tell he's hurt when he tries to get up but hits the ice in immense pain. They end up taking him off the ice on a stretcher. Currently getting xrays in a Boston hospital. http://video.nhl.com/videocenter/?id=482589 Your leg isn't suppose to bend this way....

That was cringe-worthy. I'll assume *something* is broken which would probably take him off team Canada in the Olympics...that sucks. |

Lightning have confirmed it's a broken right tibia...Sorry team Canada, no Stamkos for you! |
